Mabel loves to practice her rhyming words. It’s like a little switch has just turned on in her brain and she understands what it all means, so, understandably she wants to practice her newly discovered skill at every opportunity. Continue reading “A Word or Two”
Socks, Knickers and Dementia Idealism
I have just returned from another trip to the vets with our dog. Continue reading “Socks, Knickers and Dementia Idealism”
The Shower Scraper
My mum has one of those window-cleaning scraper things in the guest room shower. It is not the original one – that one appeared in the bathroom, carefully hanging on a little rubber hook that stuck to the shower door many, many years ago. Continue reading “The Shower Scraper”
Worms, Apparently

Puppy Love
It’s been a very busy few weeks in our household. Hubby is working 7 days a week right now and the kids are constantly doing stuff at school – end of term lovely stuff – stuff that makes me feel guilty when I don’t show my face. Continue reading “Puppy Love”
The Storm!
