Dear Dad,

Just thought I’d tell you that I think you’re doing an amazing job.

It must be so lonely and difficult some days, but you’re still managing to smile through a lot of it. Mum is so very lucky having you. I know she doesn’t think so sometimes just now, but on some level I’m sure she knows how wonderful you are.
Keep smiling dad. You’re not on your own and we will work our way through this all together to try and make things as good as they can be for mum and you.
