My youngest daughter has just seen a picture of herself from around two years ago. In the photo, she is sitting between her brother and sister and is around 18 months old and other than looking a little younger, she looks exactly like she does now. Soft blond curls framing her small, angelic face. So, I was a little stumped that she didn’t recognise herself. Continue reading “Dementia: In Her Shoes”
I have just returned from another trip to the vets with our dog. Continue reading “Socks, Knickers and Dementia Idealism”

So, I have just returned from my trip up to see The Crazy and my world-weary father. It was lovely to see them both and to spend some time together. Hubby didn’t come, he stayed and worked hard whilst I had a wee holiday. Continue reading “I Hope”
It’s Christmas Eve. The kids are in bed. Hubby has gone up to bed and I am left downstairs with my chamomile tea and Kylie screeching at me from the Royal Albert Hall. Continue reading “Ho Ho Bloody Ho!”
So, the rain is lashing down and hasn’t stopped all day. It’s battering most of the country apparently, with flood warnings in the South today and the heart of the storm due to travel up North tomorrow.
